NiteRide Map

NiteRide is a program for students, faculty, and staff who ride at no cost with an ISU ID. All other riders will be charged a fare according to the Bloomington-Normal Public Transit System fare schedule posted adjacent to the front entrance door of the bus. (Note: Drivers do NOT make change or handle fares.)

Special Bus Services

Because some riders cannot use the fixed route buses even though the buses "kneel" and are equipped with lifts, the NiteRide bus service operates a special curb-to-curb service. The service area of the Special Service Bus is a 3/4 mile radius of the NiteRide fixed route service area.

Eligibility for "Special" bus service is based on criteria which have been adopted by the Bloomington-Normal Public Transit System (BNPTS) and the Office of Parking and Transportation. Special bus service is available during the same operating hours and on the same days as the NiteRide fixed route services. The special service bus is available by (next day) reservation only. For information about reservations, call NiteRide at 438 - 7433 (voice) or 438 - 8080 (TTD) between 7:00pm and 1:00am.
